Below are links to forms and documents you will need prior to us starting on a website project. Please read, fill out and have ready prior to your project start date.
- COST: When it comes to websites we feel you get what you pay for. More than 50% of our work comes from clients who have paid a starving college student, friend, or "some web guy" a good amount of money only to have little or nothing to show for it. In every case, going cheap cost them more. It is our policy to price our work very fairly, but we are not a low cost site builider. What you get from us is a high quality, maintainable site, built by professionals. A site that will grow with you and your business. Our sites play well with search engines, are quick to load, and are delivered with no bugs or mistakes. In other words - we don't do cheap websites! We will work with clients to provide them the best solution within their budget but the client needs to have realistic expectations for what good design work costs. Our entry level sites start at $1000. Clients are pleasantly surprised at what they get for their investment dollars even at that level. For more information, please see our website white paper Before You Begin .
TIMING: It surprises us how many clients are in a hurry to get a site up - we hear all the time "just buiild it and we'll drop in the content last minute". That approach is a recipe for disaster. Nearly every case of rushing a site or jumping ahead creates delays and costly re-dos. A well laid out plan and analysis of content before the start of site prepares the road ahead and assures a smooth journey! All of our sites are designed around your content and your brand - this makes for a far better site. Please read Before You Begin for more information. Once a strategy is agreed upon, we provide an estimate of completion in our statement of work, timely completion is wholly dependent on client supplying content when its needed.
Our unique and creative web designs are fast, search engine friendly and functional. Whether you are looking to build a full custom site, use a template to manage costs, have us design it in Flash or HTML, or even change the look of your existing site (called a re-skin) we have the experience and expertise to do it. We work with clients of all sizes from individuals to mid-level companies with many employees. Sixgun Marketing has the reputation for providing sites that truly stand out from the crowd. For more information on our website design services please see the white paper : Before You Begin The sites below represent a small cross--section of the type and quality of work we do.
Started as a flash template site, we re-wrote most of the code to make the site scalable on any device including the small netbooks. Very slick site, allows photographer to display images in very high quality to clients on any computer.
Taking Stock
This Client came to us with a cool idea but they were unfamiliar with selling products from a website. We helped them through the confusion and designed a very effective e-commerce site based on their brand.
SGT Fine Properties
Realtor / Broker, full custom site. Inherited design from another web company, re-wrote it and re-skinned to make it search engine friendly and faster. Also added advanced virtual tours, MLS links, and Search.
Scottsdale Center For Sight
This also started out as template site, but we reworked it to integrate an XML image slideshow, SEO and cusom image header. The site is very well ranked on all the major search engines.
Scottsdale Skin Spa
We re-skinned the site using existing content. The old site was very cold, boring and too "corporate", not something that would draw in clients. We completely redesigned it and made it much more inviting.
Six Sigma Experts
A traditional corporate site, we wanted to solidify the meaning and message of Six Sigma by sticking to high quality, crisp and punctual. The site is linked to an e-commerce interface as well.

We don't like to lose, and if a site does not work for a client or they are unhappy with us - we have done just that - lost. The typical approach budget designers use is what we like to call the shotgun method - they design the site based on tidbits of information provided by clients, and attempt to guess what the client wants. While this usually results in a site done quickly - it almost always results in re-dos, lost work and irritation - not just for the client but for the designer as well. Our approach is far from typical - before we even make an estimate as to what a site will cost, or decide we will take the site on - we take a close look at the client's brand, business strategy and what they want to achieve with the site. We also look at budget. Once that discussion has taken place we come up with a strategy, estimate, and statement of work that fits the client's business model, budget and overall plan. This process takes a little longer, but in the end we aim for a site that will be error free, delivered in reasonable time, and serve you for years to come. For a complete description of how we work , please see Before You Begin a white paper written to help you understand our process.
